We have a lot of clients asking the same question, “what’s better… the brow tinting or the brow henna?” We hear you and we’ve got you covered. Here’s the breakdown of the two major differences between our two most popular brow services.

Brow Tinting.

The OG brow service! Brow tinting is ideal for clients who are lucky enough to have full + dense brows naturally and are looking to simply darken the color of their brow hairs. Since the brow tint is essentially a gentler form of hair color mixed with developer, brow tints will temporarily stain the top layer of skin for about 24 hours. The staining of the skin with brow tinting typically subsides after just a few face washes… leaving your brows with a gorgeous, subtle enhancement. A brow tint will typically last up to 3-4 weeks depending on your skin type + your skincare routine at home!

Brow Henna.

So basically… brow henna is like brow tint’s successful older sister who shows up late to family parties with an expensive bottle of Pinot Nior in her Saint Laurent bag. It’s a newer, upcoming brow trend in the beauty industry… however, henna has been around for thousands of years for hair dye, makeup + art. You would be a great candidate for our brow henna service if you have relatively sparse eyebrows + are looking for a more powdered-in + intensely defined finish. The brow henna will temporarily color the hair for up to 6 weeks, and stain the skin for up to 2 weeks… giving you a bold, filled-in look to your brows semi-permanently. If you’ve been dabbling back and forth about committing to permanent makeup + microblading but you are afraid to bite the bullet… a brow henna appointment is a great step to see if you would like the look of a more precise, filled-in brow!
